A meeting with leading oil and gas companies of the Republic of Bashkortostan was held in SOCAR AQS

On May 31, 2018, SOCAR AQS received a delegation from Bashkortostan led by Ildus Khalitov. The prospects of future cooperation between SOCAR AQS and leading oil and gas companies of the Republic of Bashkortostan were discussed during the meeting at the Head Office of the enterprise.

 

Adviser to the Director General Tofig Mahammadov expressed gratitude to the Bashkortostan delegation for visiting the SOCAR AQS within the 25th Anniversary International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition held in Baku, noting that the management of the enterprise is interested in full use of existing opportunities in developing bilateral relations in all fields with the relevant companies of the country.

 

The guests first got acquainted with the presentation, which included the history, service areas, achievements and new projects of SOCAR AQS, followed by click adds on the opening ceremony of the Platform No. 6 in Bulla Field.

 

The representative of the delegation Ildus Khalitov expressed gratitude to the management of the enterprise for the warm reception and appreciated the innovative image of the SOCAR AQS at both local and regional levels and emphasized the importance of increasing efforts to boost bilateral relations in the near future.

 

Later, representatives of the business circles of the Republic of Bashkortostan «Нефтесервис», «Горизонт», «ГеоТехсервис», «Мехатрон Инжиниринг», «ВНИИГИС» presented their companies and joint ventures. Representatives from Bashkortostan provided detailed information on projects in the field of construction, production, new technologies, maintenance, and software, and exchanged views on the current perspectives.

 

In the end, Adviser to the Director General Tofig Mahammadov recalled that SOCAR has been playing a leading role in the projects of local and regional importance, adding that the experience gained through these projects would be beneficial in the development of cooperation with the companies of the Bashkortostan and would create a solid foundation for future projects. He noted that there are great prospects for further deepening of cooperation with the Bashkirian partners and the implementation of joint oil and gas projects and the two companies’’ experts should diligently study these opportunities.

 

Head of the Bashkortostan delegation Ildus Khalitov mentioned that today’’s meeting will be a major breakthrough in deepening cooperation and stressed that future joint projects will serve the prosperity the people of Azerbaijan and Bashkortostan.
