SOCAR AQS is pleased to announce its participation as a Gold Sponsor of the IADC Drilling Caspian & Black Sea 2026 Conference & Exhibition, to be held on 4–5 February 2026 in Baku, at the Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard.


The conference will bring together industry leaders, drilling professionals, and technical experts to discuss key challenges facing the Caspian and Black Sea region, exchange best practices, and share operational and technological experience. The program will focus on drilling efficiency, well integrity, safety and training, workforce development, and the application of advanced technologies such as automation, digital twins, and artificial intelligence. Case studies highlighting technical achievements and the impact of the oil and gas industry on the region will also be featured.


This year, SOCAR AQS will be actively represented at the conference through leadership engagement, keynote contributions, and technical expertise. Samir Mollayev, General Director of SOCAR AQS and Chairman of the IADC Caspian Chapter, will speak at the event and provide an update on the Chapter’s activities and strategic priorities. Elvin Nasibov, Türkiye Country Manager of SOCAR AQS, will participate as a keynote speaker, presenting an overview of SOCAR AQS Türkiye operations and regional activities.


SOCAR AQS’s technical capabilities will further be showcased through the participation of Saleh Orujov, Geologist, who will contribute to a panel discussion titled “Pressure Prediction Methodologies and MPD Usage”, and Nigar Hajibayova, Drilling Engineer, who will deliver a technical presentation entitled “Beyond the Dial: Leveraging Digital Twins and Real-Time AI to Reduce Human Error in Complex Liner Hanger Deployments.” In addition, Elshan Ismayilov, Drilling Engineering Manager at SOCAR AQS, will chair the session “Digital Twins and Automation: The Future of Drilling and Completions.”
